Vote for Nikki Alber

Your Voice. Your Aurora.

I’m running for Aurora Town Council to help build a safer, more connected, and more inclusive community for all of us. I care deeply about the kind of Aurora we are building. Not only for today, but for the next generation. Residents deserve leadership that listens, brings people together, and ensures every voice is heard.

Why Nikki?

I’m not a career politician. I am a community builder, educator, and advocate who has already been doing the work.

  • Founded organizations serving hundreds of families

  • Built partnerships with local leaders, municipalities, organizations, businesses and community leaders

  • Advocated directly at Aurora Town Council

  • Developed family-focused, inclusive programming that bring people together

I’ve spent years

  • Listening to families

  • Building solutions

  • Bringing people together

Now, I want to bring that same energy, passion and leadership to Aurora Town Council.

The Aurora I want to help build:

Heading 4

A strong voice for residents.

Residents deserve to be heard. I will ensure that people across Aurora know that their concerns, ideas, and priorities matter.

Responsible development.

Aurora needs financially and environmentally responsible development that respects the existing homes and communities that are impacted.

Safe and inclusive communities.

Everyone must be safe, respected, and welcome in Aurora. I believe in bringing people together for our similarities rather than dividing people by focusing on their differences.

Keeping Aurora beautiful.

From our parks to our neighborhoods, we must prioritize sustainability and protect the environment that makes our town such a great place to live.

Effective, collaborative leadership.

I will listen carefully, act responsibly, and make decisions that prioritize you. Residents deserve leadership that is responsible, collaborative, and focused on real community needs.

Meet Nikki

I’m a mother, educator, local business owner, and community advocate who cares deeply about Aurora and the people who call it home.

I earned a doctorate from the University of Toronto and have built my career around education, leadership, and service. As the founder of Young Scholars Educational Services, I have supported over 500 local students and families over the past 14 years.

I am also a co-founder of a local non-profit organization dedicated to bringing people together through community events, programming, and support for families. Through this work, I have helped create inclusive opportunities for connection, strengthen relationships across the community, and build a sense of belonging for families in Aurora.

I know how important it is to have leadership that listens, responds, and brings people together. My work has always been about helping people feel supported, empowered, and connected. As a mother, this work is personal to me. I care about the kind of community we are building for our children, our families, and our future.

That is the kind of leadership I will bring to Council.
